Until the end of 2025, the client managed its logistics through its own warehouse in downtown St. Gallen. As the company continued to expand, the existing warehouse location became an increasing challenge. In particular, the City of St. Gallen’s transportation policy shift toward an increasingly car-free downtown made deliveries by carriers more difficult.

An Onboarding Process with a Unique Starting Point
The implementation of the fulfillment system coincided with an ERP migration on the customer’s side. This provided an opportunity not only to restructure logistics but also to optimally align technical and organizational processes from the very beginning. The integration was carried out via an SFTP interface. Together with the new ERP service provider, the team also defined new methods and processes, such as those for creating and processing delivery slips.
It was precisely during this phase that the value of close collaboration became apparent: Instead of relying on rigid standard procedures, die Logistikkönner worked closely with the customer and the ERP service provider to tailor the solution to their specific needs. Personal account manager Sascha Boltizar closely oversaw the handover and ensured quick communication channels for questions and decisions.
